I don’t go into a Nintendo game expecting a challenge. It would be nice. But their games generally have such a high polish to (most) everything else that I don’t mind too much. He only used his experience as a journalist to point out how people with limited time probably wont experience the best bits of these behemoth games. It was not even his main argument.

Your cricism therefore seems out of place.

The point being made is that many experiences are better deserved by less time, not always more. And if the focus is only on value we will potentially loose out on many great experiences.
